Heh. The number-one rule I’ve always had about judging conspiracy theories is that, if the world’s ills can be resolved with a knee to some shadowy groin or collection of shadowy groins, then the theory is probably missing a few parts or at least has a few screws loose. Likewise, if a known societal structure is dismissed by envisioning it as some shadowy, kickable conspiracy, it’s…not great analysis.
But, as mentioned, it’s definitely interesting to classify broad adventure stories in terms of what evil looks like and how the heroes approach it.
