Well actually Sico, the robot in Rocky 4, was created to treat autism and was treating Stallone’s son at the time and Sylvester just took a shine to the robot and just put him in his new movie. The article I link below also explains why the robot changes voices from scene to scene.
I believe the robot is still being used to help treat autistic children… so yeah they could’ve brought Sico back to Creed in a non-campy way but I guess there was no room :/
