“If you don’t like what is being said, change the conversation.”

The way I interpreted Don listening to Peggy’s pitch was that he was more disappointed rather than angry. Disappointed not in that she stole but that she used an old pitch. I don’t think Don would ever use same lines describing different products or selling an advertising strategy.
Thanks! I knew I’d heard that on Mad Men before. I also like what you said about Don being disappointed in Peggy. It continues the theme of Don getting annoyed with other people for doing things he’s already done. Another example: When Don cheats on his wife, it’s okay, but he sneers at Pete for doing the same. Or in last season’s finale, Don shoots Meghan this dirty/disappointed look because she’s selling out by being an actress in an advertisement. Rich coming from someone who’s spent his whole life selling out in the ad world and pretending to be someone he’s not.
Simply look up Matthew Weiner and Steve Sailer. All will be explained.
